e’re subjected to all sorts of extremes on a daily basis : consumerism, sexualisation of media, terrorism. Some would argue that 13 year-old, Deborah Draper is just another example of the religious variety. My question is, is she? Or is she just commendably consistent? More so than those who critique her, with weak counter arguments, intellectual dishonesty, and dismissive hand-waving. It’s on Iplayer till Tuesday. let me know what you think…

I’ve come just by chance to search the name Deborah Drapper after wacthing her on tely, ad I come up with this blog.
Well, after the program about this fantastic and couragious girl, I’m really hapy to realise that such young christian could exist in this society. I truly believe in what she stands for. I couldn’t be happier to see her standing firm by Jesus Christ and trying to preach in such an hostile environment of drunks and outters of all kind. The Eternity is a reality and everyone would like to go to Heaven but it takes something more than beeing just a good person to see Jesus in eternity. You have to confes your sin, abandon them, belive in Jesus Christ, accept him as your Lord and Savior and finally beeing baptised. Jesus is the way, the Truth and the Life. Anyone who would like to go to heaven MUST accept Jesus Christ and abandon his sins.
I know many would argue that Deborah istoo young to understand or stand by all those values, but I think God will keep her away from the trouble of th world and she will persist in this RIGHT path of Jesus and many young people will for sure look up to her as a role model.

i watched the entire show and is she consistent or brainwashed?!
all arguments aginst here were weak but so were many of her comments

the same can be said about religion on many accounts. any how sorry off topic i think that being in an enviroment where the view on the world are consistant and your left with little interaction with other people in a normal 13 yr old situation or having ot make what i can see many decisions of her own as shes been shelterd from social interation outside her family, no bully no peer presure would she been as strong if she had been subjected to these things.
i think its just a secure nice way of brainwashing someone like a strange family cult.
theres belief which im all for then theres just going too far in sheltering a child which could actally effect the rest of their childrens lives a 5 year old going to sleep listing to the tape of the bible is hardly letting them choose there own faith or exposing them to diffrent beliefs
i think she is utterly awful. talking about sins and saying how bad we all are. how dare she also try to force religion on people. its truly digusting and very unchristian.i think it is wrong and terrible she is 13 she does not act write for her age and should turn her life around.
